The Abha Seva Sadan is a multi-therapy clinic located in the state of Jharkhand,one of the poorest areas in India. But this project brings forth a revolutionary concept in medicine where various types of therapy share the same space and are used according to the needs of the patient.
The approach here is not only to treat but also to prevent. Most of the diseases in this poverty stricken area derive from map-nutrition. The clinic trains the patients to locate, cultivate, and cook local vegetables for an improved nutrition. It also makes acupuncture, homeopathy and allopathy available and treats the patient with the one that is more effective on that particular type of disease.
