The Foundation has recently provided a Microdonation to the Lotus Children Center in the South Western part of Accra, Ghana.
The Center offers a home for orphaned and disadvantaged girls, as well as a pre-school (crèche, nursery and kindergarten). They organize weekends activities for the children of the community.
The home as well as the school children come from very disadvantaged backgrounds. The center is called “Lotus Children Centre” because the lotus flower symbolizes beauty and purity. Kids from various tribes and mother tongues learn meditation and yoga exercises, moral and social education for healthy physical, mental and spiritual growth. They also get opportunities for creative expression and for the development of their talents, leadership and sense of responsibility.
